I am a retired Embedded Systems Engineering Director with more than 40 years of experience spanning firmware development, software architecture, and large-scale engineering team leadership. My career has taken me from writing low-level embedded code to directing global engineering organizations responsible for mission-critical systems.

I am now selectively available for expert witness engagements and fractional technology advisory work — situations where hard-won judgment and deep domain knowledge make a material difference to the outcome.

When technical disputes reach litigation, attorneys need an expert who can explain embedded systems, firmware behavior, and software architecture to judges and juries — clearly, credibly, and without hedging. I provide that expertise.

My experience spans the full arc of embedded system development: from requirements and architecture through implementation, testing, and field deployment. I understand both what engineers are supposed to do and what actually happens in practice — a distinction that often determines case outcomes.
